In the production workshop of Power Diamond, rows of large six-sided presses operate silently under constant temperature and pressure conditions.
Inside these six-sided presses, temperatures of 1,300–1,500 degrees Celsius and ultra-high pressures of 5–7 GPa—equivalent to the pressure found 120–170 kilometers deep in the Earth’s mantle—recreate the conditions under which natural diamonds form over hundreds of millions of years. Yet, by electronically controlling the temperature-pressure gradient and heat distribution, the crystallization process can be compressed to just a few weeks.
